Wow! What a week... Thank you for supporting our efforts to demand for a public tree hearing for the 120+ trees along Melnea Cass Boulevard.

1) Yvonne Lalyre (among a few others) was featured on the front page of the Boston Globe! And, Cat McGloin wrote a wonderful in depth profile of some of our recently advocacy work to save the 120 trees along MCB. And Caroline Toth made a powerful video about the history of Roxbury and of MCB. Watch it here. Thank you David, Cat and Caroline!

2) The first 25 minutes of Boston Public Radio was devoted to call-ins about MCB trees. Have a listen here. Margery Eagen pulled no punches.

3) We reached 5,000 signers of the petition. Wow! Our next goal: 7,500. Keep sharing the link: https://www.change.org/Save_MCB_Trees

4) We have 6 new orgs who have joined to support our work. Big thank you to Boston Cyclists Union (yes!), Tommy's Rock Neighborhood Association, Friends of the Boston Schoolyards, Brownstones Alliance, Boston Food Forest Coalition, and Arborway Coalition. Know of other orgs will to support? They can sign here: https://forms.gle/umVA1mCPWPWdRLaP6
