Why is "Jodi & Ruby's" Moms of Truth Instagram account (moms_of_truth) still running?

Ruby Franke was a former family vlogger on YouTube posting video updates about her family, including her 6 children from oldest to youngest: Shari, Chad, Abby, Julie, Russell, and Eve. She created the YouTube channel “8 Passengers” in 2015, but it was terminated in August 2023 after she was found to commit multiple acts of child abuse.

Ruby abused her youngest 2 children — Russell (12) and Eve (10), by beating them and not letting them eat/drink anything. They become malnourished, ending up with wound marks on them, that they needed to be taken into a hospital. She has been charged with 4 (formerly 6) counts of child abuse, and was arrested on August 30th.

On September 1st, 2023, The oldest child, daughter Shari, spoke out against her mother Ruby’s arrest. She shared stories on Instagram, one saying “ConneXions and Moms of Truth needs to Go. Please report their IG accounts and encourage everyone to Unfollow them. They don’t deserve such a large audience,” and another saying “Finally,” the latter of which depicted the police scene at her house re Ruby’s arrest.

 

Almost half a year later, in February 2024, the length of the prison sentence was decided: 4 to 30 years total (4 consecutive sentences of 1–15 years each, theoretically 4–60 years total, but with a limit of 30 years total according to Utah state law).

 

Jodi Hildebrandt, who worked with Ruby in all the child abuse schemes, also got the same punishment as Ruby.

Ruby turned from a popular vlogger to an infamous child abuser, making her lose ALL her popularity, reverence, and reputation due to her evil deeds of abusing her 2 youngest children.
