Petition updateThe government to put aside immigration law and use compassion for a dying motherImmigration Visit to the Police Station

Yesterday's visit did not go to plan, as we were told a few weeks again that the signing would be just a standard process in confirming mum was still in the U.K. and living with us at the same address. This was good news and put the family at ease but how wrong was their information to us!! We went to the police station and mum was taken aside again with Desree and we knew straight away it was not the standard signing we were expecting. The immigration team had their on site private doctor with them who was there to asses mums health. Mum was looked over by the immigration private doctor and many questions were asked in regards to her health, which clearly was to ascertain whether she is fit to fly and we believe the Home Office is now preparing to deport her back to South Africa, where we know the outcome will be death due to no life saving dialysis treatment, which she graciously receives here in the U.K. and has her family with her who support her every day. Back to South Africa she will have nothing in lines with a family support team and most importantly the ability to keep her alive with her family now in the UK. It is just a waiting game now and the only positive from the meeting was the fact mum does not have to go back and sign again until November 2017 but that does not mean we could get a letter anytime advising her to leave, which will be 72 hours notice. We need help and more signatures, we need more letters to be sent to local MP's, so please pass to family, friends working colleagues, churches the more people who see how desperate we are the more chnace we believe we will have in getting our situation to the people who can make a change. Please see the following BBC news update, which will show the desperation we are in and again we will need to engage with a new legal team, as clearly if they give us deportation notice we will need to engage very quickly, as the Home Office will not let this go and we are a soft target to increase their deportation figures, despite the consequences of their call to deport our mum.
