Just an update to all our supporters in where we are with our mother Irene Nel.
After a very peaceful Christmas and new year with the family and not having to attend the local police station with immigration to sign on, it has now come around again.
Today we attend the local police station to meet with immigration officers in what we pray will be a standard signing in confirming mum is still with us and still at the same address. The last five months rest has been good for both mum and the family, with no stress or anxieties.
Today mum and Desree are heading back to the local police station and I can already sense the mood of anxiety as they prepare for the 09h30 visit.
Despite our petition being handed in at Number 10 Downing Street back in 2016, we still wait on any news regarding a positive outcome and trust today will be a standard signing on and then another five months rest, as we pray we will not have to do this every month, as mum is frail, as she still receives her life saving treatment.
I will keep you all posted and have an awesome day.
Regards
Derek, Desree & Irene
