Petition updateThe government to put aside immigration law and use compassion for a dying motherAppology

I need to apologise to the legal team (who over the last 4months has provided invaluable work and advice, including pro bono) whom I referenced in my last update of 10th October 2016 as I sent an incorrect version of the update I intended to send which contained wrong information and which I retract. The update I want to send is in fact the following:
We just need to press on with the fight.
Our mother has to go to the police station on the 4th of November 2016 for what we believe may be the final request for her to be sent back home. It is a very sad time for us all. The government seems to be just waiting for us to lose our strength and drive to fight on, as with no funds the fight cannot go on any further.
We are now fighting on our own in hope we can get to 10 Downing Street to hand in our petition, which we hope and pray is set for the 28th of October 2016, so fingers crossed we can move forward in getting the government to change their mind set for our mother to remain with her family in the UK.
In simple terms our mother cannot return back to South Africa, where she will not get treatment required to keep her alive and will die in under 14 days.
Please continue to support Irene and the family, as every £1 will help us fight a senseless legal battle, which the government is throwing us into.
Please visit the GoFundMe page and support our family as we try and do what socially is the right thing to do in taking care of our dying mother @ www.gofundme.com/289kq
Visit and like Irene's face book page for updates @www.facebook.com/saveirenenel
Please continue to send your feelings directly to the new Secretary of State, Amber Rudd @Amber.rudd.mp@parliament.uk
Irene and her family appreciate your continued support, which keeps us fighting and moving forward in doing what is right.
We have been advised the ITV team are seeking an update from our local MP Charlotte Lesley, who has sent a direct appeal to Amber Rudd and again we will keep you all posted without sending too many emails out to everybody.
Regards
Derek
