As per the rules pertaining to Irene's visa application she has to sign in at the local police station every month with the immigration department, which took place on Thursday the 12th of May 2016. The good news is she was not detained, as we thought but we spent the 90 minutes filling out South African passport applications, as her South African passport had expired, which has always been in the hands of the Home Office. This means we have six weeks left to get our visa application sorted out, as once they get the travel documents done and dusted they book the flight for our mother to fly back to South Africa, to her certain death. The Home Office have confirmed once the documents are all in order they will give us three days notice of flights and if she fails to get on the booked flights she will be arrested and detained under the immigration law, as she has no right to remain, despite the fact the Home Office will be sending her to her death. Please can you go to the following page and sign this petition, which once we get over 10,000 the government will review and if we get over 120,000 it will be debated in the House of Parliament, which will then bring it to the attention of the Secretery of State and Mr Cameron, who have todate being hiding behind government immigration red tape. https://petition.parliament.uk/petitions/119736 Both Change.org and this petition combined will give us over 120,000, as we all share it with family and friends. Again thanks to you all, as it means a life to us.
