It’s been a busy time for the campaign.

Marie appeared on Good Morning Britain on Thursday (March 7 2019) along with Linda Jones – mum of missing murdered teenager Danielle Jones – to explain the need for Helen’s Law.

A documentary about the murder of Helen McCourt, and Marie’s campaign for Helen’s Law, launched a new series called When Missing Turns to Murder on Monday March 4 on the crime +investigation channel. (Still available on catch-up).

Helen’s killer Ian Simms has been pictured out on release from open prison. A devastated Marie has said: “Why should he be allowed his freedom when I still haven’t been able to bury my murdered daughter?”

We have welcomed on board Professor Elizabeth Yardley, criminologist at Birmingham City University, who fully supports Helen’s Law.

And the number of signatures on the petition has soared to more than 583,000. Thank you. Please keep signing, sharing and supporting.
