We passed the Committee Stage - Yay �

Hello 

I hope this finds you all well and having enjoyed a Snow Day if you got snow last week. To my surprise all the MPs made it in to work and I’m so glad as the new Organ donation bill passed the Commitee Stage and we hope will receive Royal Assent within the next month. Although there’s the small matter of Brexit which may slightly delay it. But this is amazing news as it means we’re ALMOST there.

It’s 3.5 years on and it’s almost law and although it wasn’t us who got the matter into parliament directly we’ve been instrumental in making government realise a radical change was needed, and this proposal which had a lot of widespread support that could no longer be ignored!

Please continue to Sign & Share this petition just in case. Also, if you could spread the word about donation as this is just one stage in getting more donors. Education and awareness is key, not many people are aware Opt Out is becoming law and this is key to them making an informed decision about whether they wish to be a donor.
