Tuesdays 9pm BBC2 - Great Ormond Street

I watched Great Ormond Street – Episode 2 on BBC at 9pm last night which featured Jessica a local girl who thank fully received a double lung transplant in the nick of time from the same hospital I was transplanted at (she is now an Ambassador for a wonderful organisation called “Live Life Give Life”). However Great Ormond Street did mention that many children are not as lucky as 25% children waiting for lung transplants die waiting as they’re in such short supply. Please read the petition to reform the organ donation system, even if you do not sign please discuss what your wishes are with your family (as morbid as it sounds dying in sudden circumstances if not always something that happens to someone else, it is highly unlikely to happen to any of us, but please make your wishes clear just in case).
