The Issue

Nakedness, by itself, is not, and should not be, a criminal offence. The laws used to imprison Stephen Gough have been applied subjectively and arbitrarily. He is a prisoner of conscience and his incarceration is a blot on the administration of justice in the U.K. It is a misuse of tax payer's money to detain him. There must be room for his innocent nakedness in our civilised society.
