Today we exceeded 10,100 signatures, with the looming deadlines of the September closures and an early August decision, I have submitted the petition signatures along with comments to the Chris Sherwood, CEO of RSPCA alongside the following;
The executive team of the RSPCA
The RSPCA branches proposed to close
Fleur Anderson - MP for the constituency within which Putney Animal Hospital sits
Virenda Sharma - MP for the constituency within which Southall Cattery & Clinic sits
Claire Coutinho - MP for the constituency within which South Godstone Animal Centre sits
Jeremy Hunt - MP for the constituency within which Lockwood Equine Centre sits
Boris Johnson - Prime Minister, and MP for Uxbridge and South Ruislip, where I reside
Zac Goldsmith - Minister for the International Environment and Climate and UK Animal Welfare and Forests
George Eustice - Secretary of State for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs

I have asked for a response by 5th August 2020 and will share this with you as soon as I receive it. Until then, I would urge you to continue to share the petition, encourage others to sign it and donate directly to the branches if you can. We can save these centres and will not stop trying until we have a justified response.
