Eastbourne United has CANCELLED the booking of their venue!

You will never completely stop it sadly, not whilst they are legal to use here but at least people are made more aware and they cannot promote it as widely as they would like to get more numbers attending. A lot of respect to Eastbourne United for cancelling. I think we should be very proud that there are so many dog lovers not only in our county but the whole of the UK! Please continue to share far and wide so that people are aware of how widely this is disapproved of. Once I am able to create a parliament petition (they have currently been stopped after the election) I will share the link to a petition for banning the use of these shock and prong collars throughout the UK. EMAIL FROM EASTBOURNE UNITED: Thank you for taking the time to contact us about the Aggressive dog training seminar being hosted by Solid K9 training at The Oval in July. The booking was made some time ago by a conference staff member, with good intentions. Since the seminar has been publicized, we have received a small number of phone calls and email contact, all of it requesting politely that we decline to host this event. As a committee we have taken some time to look at the methods used and talked to animal welfare organisations. As a result of this consultation, we have decided to withdraw our offer of hosting the event, and we will not be taking any future bookings form this organisation. We hope that your concerns have been laid to rest, Eastbourne United are a very dog friendly club, and the bar has always welcomed dogs and had fresh water available to our canine friends. If you have any other concerns or queries, you are very welcome to contact me or any committee member via email or at the club address, below. With very Best wishes Steve Huxley Stephen Huxley Treasurer Eastbourne United AFC
