(RSCH Brighton)Calling for Surgeons that are being investigated by Police to be suspended

The Issue

Sussex Police are investigating Surgeons whom are operating at the Royal Sussex County Hospital in Brighton.

Operation Bramber….. (please google it)

They are investigating at least 400 cases of harm and at least 90 deaths…

These Surgeons are still operating and patients still being harmed….. my mother has been left disabled and wheelchair bound….

In the interest of public safety this needs to be stopped. How can a professional who is being investigated still be allowed to practice! At least a suspension until all the facts and the operation is concluded. Please if you would take a couple minutes of your time to sign and share this could really help protect unknowing members of the public against further harm.

When healthcare professionals, particularly surgeons and consultants, play such a crucial role in the wellbeing and safety of patients, it becomes imperative for medical institutions and law enforcement to act responsibly and transparently. Currently, there is a troubling gap in our healthcare policy regarding surgeons or consultants who are under active investigation by the police.

Patients trust medical professionals with their lives, and maintaining this trust should remain a top priority. When a surgeon or consultant is under investigation, especially for matters that threaten public safety, it is essential to suspend them from duties until the investigation is concluded. Such a measure not only protects potential patients but also upholds the integrity of our health system.

According to data from the National Health Service, even a temporary lapse in safety could have serious consequences. These pending investigations, which could involve anything from medical negligence to criminal activities unrelated to their medical duties, might compromise the quality of patient care.

Suspending medical professionals during police investigations will safeguard both patients and the practitioners themselves. This enables a fair investigation and prevents undue harm to an individual's reputation if they are found innocent, while also ensuring the public is not placed at unnecessary risk.

We propose a clear and actionable protocol to be implemented where any medical professional under active police investigation is temporarily suspended with pay. This ensures that while they are not practicing, they are also not unfairly penalized financially until the investigation has reached a conclusion.

Join us in urging the health authorities and policymakers to adopt policies that emphasize safety, transparency, and accountability to protect both patients and professionals. Sign this petition to demand change and prioritize public safety in our healthcare system.

This is something very personal to me as my mother has suffered…. As a result been left paraplegic and in a wheelchair…. Not just her but over 300 patients and 90 deaths….. we need to protect the public….. these surgeons are still operating and as soon as a couple of days ago another patient left with life changing disabilities…. This is an active Police Investigation OPERATION BRAMBER Google it….. please please sign……. How many more life’s are going to be ruined!!!!! Please share…… To many patients have been harmed and this is still happening. I needs to stop a suspension is needed….
