Petition updateRoyal Commission into the Killing of Australian Women and GirlsCRACKDOWN ON PALESTINIAN CHANT IS HARSHER THAN CRACKDOWN ON VIOLENT MEN

In Queensland, we have a government more worried about cracking down on a slogan than cracking down on domestic violence perpetrators. And we have a police force that recently decided to dump its specialist domestic violence unit because domestic violence (aka men's violence against women) is not 'core policing business'.
And this morning we have a woman and her baby daughter murdered and their partner and father is in police custody. The woman and child were found dead this morning at Belivah in Queensland. She is the 14th woman killed this year and the little girl is the fifth child killed in 2026. We lost 79 women to violence last year and 106 women were killed in 2024. More than 60% of these deaths were domestic violence.
Across Australia, women are being slaughtered and we can't even get Prime Minister Anthony Albanese to consider holding a national inquiry into femicide. We can have inquiries on pretty much anything but shining a light on male violence is a road too far for Albo and co.

Please help me get a Royal Commission into the Killing of Women and Girls - sign the petition (f you haven't already) and share it with your circle. The more voices we get the better chance we have of success!

If you want to know about Australia's femicide toll visit The RED HEART Movement - you will find every death documented, the current femicide and child death tolls and a lot of other information about violence against women and children!

Families of femicide are tired. Advocates are tired. Sector professionals are tired. I am tired. We are all tired because we see the failures, we see the preventability of these deaths and we see governments and leaders continually turning their eyes away from the one epidemic they can end.
