A 69-year-old woman was killed at a home in Spencer Park, WA, on February 8.  I have confirmed with sources close to the homicide investigation that a man known to her is in hospital in a critical condition.

She is the 8th woman killed this year - and the fourth Aboriginal woman lost to violence in 2026. Last year 78 Australian women were killed and 106 women were killed in 2024.
