

We know all about his career - we know nothing about her other than her age, her home suburb and that he allegedly chose to end her life on a beach.
On January 28, an unnamed 49-year-old unnamed woman was murdered at Eastern Beach Pavilion in Geelong, Victoria.
A man known to her is charged over her death. He was on bail for drug offences.
She is the sixth Australian women killed this year. Last year we lost 77 women to violence and we lost 105 women in 2024.
The unnamed woman came from Springvale and had been staying in Geelong for a number of weeks. Some media reported she was sleeping rough, as was her alleged killer.
Some of the media reporting around Macauley is quite sympathetic and they ran multiple photos of him smiling into the camera.
No sympathy or care for the woman he allegedly killed! But what is new?
Meanwhile, Prime Minister Anthony Albanese has had no words to say about the six women killed this year, the 77 women killed last year, the 105 women killed in 2024 and the many women and girls killed this century.
There's no indication of support from Albo, from the minister for women Katy Gallagher or even the Australian Minister for Social Services Tanya Plibersek.
