Covid-19 causes physical and financial injury to those infected and their families. The long term effects after recovery have yet be determined in many cases sickness results in death.

Physical hardship means duty involving physical hardship which may not in itself be hazardous but which causes extreme physical discomfort and distress and which is not adequately alleviated by protective or mechanical devices; e.g., ...duty involving exposure to fumes, dust, or noise which causes nausea or skin, eye, ear, or nose irritation.

We work in the food industry at a large industrial bakery Covid-19 is a novel airborne virus we work with HUNDREDS of travelers every day. We are very much under additional discomfort and distress as a result of this global pandemic.

It appears Roskam when learning about the pandemic initially voted against giving additional protections to employees. It's time to send them a message that without us they have no company. We are essential not expendable. 

A potentially lethal viral pandemic is a hazard we want the hazard pay we are entitled to by definition and that we deserve.
