Thanks to the bands TOB & UCB, hundreds of people who came out to Go-Go 4 Justice at United Medical Center (UMC) on Friday, and everyone who contacted city officials in the past week. Because of you,  the D.C. City Council just voted to do the following:

---Restore $22 million in cuts to UMC.

---Restore $53 million in cuts to Banneker H.S.’s new building and relocation to Shaw.

---Restored funding to Project Empowerment

We still have so much more work to do to achieve equity across the city. Thanks to all the Council members who listened to the people. Let’s continue to work together.
