Food and beverage products from northern Japan may be contaminated by the radioactive fallout cloud from Fukushima Daiichi, however the U.S. wouldn't know it because we're not properly testing our food.  The TPP will accelerate Japanese trade with the U.S., making it difficult for concerned citizens to protect their children against potentially radioactively contaminated food.  Furthermore, under TPP, corporations can sue for lost profits if the U.S. rejects food containing man made radioactivity from nuclear accidents.  There is no end in sight for radioactive leaks coming from this catastrophe, as admitted by Naohiro Masuda, president of the Fukushima Daiichi Decommissioning Company, who also recently stated in a televised interview that the technology required to contain the radiation still needs to be invented.
