Please bring back the hand soap in bathrooms. Ever since the “Devious Licks” challenge on TikTok trended, people around the USA robbed hand soaps or any school equipment. Though the trend ended a year ago, the school refuses or does not have the intent to put hand soaps back in the bathrooms. We are tired of leaving the stalls to see 0 hand soap dispensers, even the bathrooms near the Cafeteria where soap should be necessary since people eat at the cafeteria don’t have soap or haven’t fixed the dispensers but to be fair, there are some bathrooms with soap. For example, C building gym bathrooms have an accurate or near accurate amount of soap per sink, but personally, I never saw a bathroom with the normal amount of soap dispensers other than those. The students have been disciplined and learned that they shouldn’t steal from the school. But, the school still hasn’t brought back hand soap. Instead, recently the school has renovated the cafeteria by adding new tables and water bottle fountains. Yet not a single container of soap or barely any soap in the bathrooms. Soap is especially important in this pandemic and without being able to wash our hands, Covid and other illnesses spread faster and more easily. The only thing close to hand washing that we currently have is hand sanitizer in classrooms. Hand sanitizers containing alcohol kill germs on your hands, however  washing your hands with soap and water kills bacteria. Handwashing kills all types of bacteria and removes dangerous compounds like pesticides and heavy metals, while hand sanitizers don't. Soap should be a basic necessity, not “cool” new tables with a bearcat logo. This has nothing to do with lack of money as these new tables and water bottle dispensers cost a lot. So please, for the safety of the students, teachers and other staff, bring back or repair the hand soap dispensers.
