Alita: Battle Angel star Rosa Salazar has spoken up about what has been the cause of delay in producing a sequel to the beloved cyberpunk movie. In her interview with Slashfilm, she suggested the delay could be about Disney’s plans for its projects. 

While it is no secret that James Cameron has teased that there could be multiple sequels to Alita, Salazar thinks the Disney/Fox acquisition could have changed things. However, Salazar has stated that she would be happy to continue playing her role “until [her] last breath.”
