Please STOP the killing of homeless cats in Dare County North Carolina. Debbie Martin (Friends of Felines Hatteras Island) & John Graves (Dir., Dare County Animal 'Shelter') in Manteo are advising local authorities and citizens to starve stray cats on Ships Timber Road, a main road. These helpless animals have been starved to death and murdered by cat-hating property owners for years, it is time for this to stop. The encouragement of local authorities to continue this cruel act of violence towards these helpless cats and kittens is appauling. Cats lives matter, all lives matter and discouraging good samaritians from feeding and encouraging cat-hating locals to murder these poor animals needs to STOP NOW. Please use your voice for the voiceless, please reach out and contact the local authorities and tell them this has to end.

This is NOT animal control, this is a heinous crime against helpless kittens and adults cats who are in the situation they are in because of human beings. This is not their faults, they should not have to suffer needlessly and pay with their lives. There are other solutions to this problem, Mr John Graves and Debbie Martin should be part of that solution and not part of the problem.

Please reach out and ask the State and Local authorities to help these cats and kittens, ask them to STOP the animal cruelty and the needless suffering of these animals at the hands of those who should be helping them. Friends of Feline - Cape Hatteras Island states on their website "Our mission is to end the overpopulation of feral cats on Hatteras Island with a trap, spay/neuter, vaccinate, micro-chip and return to safe habitat program (TNR) where caretakers will provide long-term care" Ask them to stand by that statement and stop encouraging the starvation and murder of helpless kittens and adult cats. Ask Sheriff Doughtie to enforce the laws for animal cruelty ...
