Although this isn't the news we would have preferred to deliver, the Illinois Courts Commission has elected to not provide a livestream feed for the Robert K Adrian hearing this November.
By corresponding with the Commission's office, we have been provided the following information about this decision:
"The Commission decided not to livestream the In re Adrian hearing, but it remains open to the public at 160 N. LaSalle St. in Chicago, IL. ... Please know the Commission very seriously considered the issue of livestreaming, and the Commission feels very strongly about having more transparency with the public (hence the new website and holding the pre-hearing conferences on Zoom where members of the public can attend),"
- Shelley Bethune
Executive Director & General Counsel
Illinois Courts Commission
Should we receive any further information regarding this decision, we will provide that in a future update.
But, we are so very happy and hopeful about the upcoming hearing and what accountability we may see held for those charged to be the pinnacle leaders of what it means to uphold and follow the law in our community and our state.
Thank you for your continued concern with this issue,
and stay tuned for the impending countdown ;)
