At today's meeting, Judge Lewis Nixon tried to pin down dates for the hearing/trial. He suggested April 2023. The lawyers expressed they had various scheduling conflicts that prevented them from being available for the trial before the beginning of November 2023. Judge Lewis expressed the Illinois Courts Commission members would very strongly prefer to schedule the trial much sooner. No trial dates were put down today - however, a case management conference was scheduled for March 9, 2023, at which time (I got the strong opinion) the Commission would like to formally schedule the trial.
Another noteworthy update....
There was a hearing in Adams County Illinois case number 2021CF396, criminal felony / sexual assault against Drew S Clinton (5/18/2003) of Southgate / Detroit Michigan yesterday, Feb 1, 2023 [ref, www.judici.com The hearing was on a motion to expunge Drew's record of the charges, one criminal felony count on which he was at one point convicted.........
The judge denied the motion to expunge!!
And that is great! ... it's something more than nothing.
It's not the lawful remedy to the law that was broken - not even the light end of the mandated response. But... it is a mark that will last longer than wanted. It's a thumb print that can't be wiped off. It's a reminder of the mistakes that were made, a weight to be carried. It is less than the appropriate legal response to it all, but it is not without merit - it reaffirms that these events happened, and if they can't unhappen for one party, they shouldn't be allowed to unhappen for anyone. So good. Good.
We will send out another update after the March 9th meeting, unless there are important updates between now and then.
We still have an active Facebook page, and that is another way to make sure you are aware of when Judge Robert K Adrian Eighth Circuit Court of Illinois is on trial by the Illinois Courts Commission regarding the Illinois Judicial Inquiry Board's filed complaints that he knowingly obstructed justice, abused the limits of his own judicial power, and displayed flagrant partiality against Assistant States Attorney Josh Jones.... that Facebook community can be found at:

And update on Cammy!!
We aren't going to say much specific here because to be honest, respecting this girl's control of her own life, respecting her privacy... that's always been very important to us. But so you know how she's doing,
She's pretty great, as far as we can tell. She graduated high school, proceeded with post-secondary school, has great family and friends in her life, and she seems.... happy. So good. So good.
:)
Thank you all, always, forever -
