Understandably many of you do not see the victory here. But we have accomplished a lot through this petition. We've rallied a very strong army. We've rallied a small number of front-line fighters who have been putting in an enormous amount of volunteer effort and free time. This movement started because one family cried out, and that started a chain reaction that has resulted in over a million people seeing this petition. Greta Van Susteren has weighed in. Nancy Grace has weighed in. Dr Phil and Judge Rosemarie Aquilina have lent their support to this cause. We were endorsed by the #NOMORE campaign. The circuit court case was appealed. Attorney General Kwame Raoul petitioned the Illinois Supreme Court to let him file writ of mandamus against Judge Adrian. We learned what writ of mandamus is, how the judicial system is organized - we read the Illinois Judicial Code of Conduct and the Professional Code of Conduct for attorneys. We learned some things about the ARDC. We have fought the good fight in this battle, and we are here standing our ground at the end of the day. That is sometimes what winning looks like - having fought well, having truth on your side, and finding some small peace in knowing you are doing the right thing. We absolutely could not have gotten to this point without your support.

Have we gotten to the full resolution we want to see, where Drew Clinton is held accountable and Judge Adrian no longer has any judicial authority? No. There are battles yet to fight. There are more chapters in this story, rest assured my friends. But look at this - look how many people have spoken out to say this isn't finished and you want us to keep fighting. THAT is a victory too. It's a victory over apathy. That is a HUGE victory. You showing up truly is the change.

So yes, there are victories yet to win, but yes - we are victorious even now! And we should celebrate every small victory along the path, every good thing that life provides, every reason there is to be found to feel happy in this life. We're so very happy to hear from you, to hear that you're out there - to hear that you care and that you're committed to following us into the next battle we will surely fight, and too soon.

We're not abandoning this cause. Realistically though, we are fighting a 200+ year old institution created by white men to protect the assets, integrity, and livelihoods of white men before any other type of person. It's likely gonna take... I don't know how long, but guessing awhile. We need to be happy NOW - it can't wait until we're done, if we are ever done.
