We believe the dialysis unit is an indispensable, integral part of Kent Hospital.

We oppose outsourcing this unit to a private, for-profit subcontractor, which hospital leaders are attempting to do. The dedicated Kent caregivers and staff have earned the respect and confidence of patients, colleagues, and of the entire community. 

Quality patient care necessitates that the existing, trained and committed professionals at Kent Hospital, not an outside for-profit subcontractor, continue to administer the dialysis treatments that patients deserve.
