WHAT WILL IT TAKE before something is done  ?

It's a question that I have been asked personally, in the comments on the Petition and on video by parents and residents around the area.

We know that the Traffic Chaos at the School is Caused by the Car Parking Crisis at the Train Station.

WHAT CAN WE DO as a Community before the unthinkable happens?

TASK ONE - SIGN a PAPER Petition

WE Need to get a paper petition with a minimum of 500 Signatures to Parliament by the 19th November 2018 before Parliament breaks up for Christmas and the march Elections on the 22/11/18.

 To the Honourable the Speaker and Members of the Legislative Assembly of New South Wales in Parliament assembled.

 The Petition of the residents of various suburbs and electorates in South Western Sydney including and not limited to the suburbs of Liverpool, Campbelltown and Camden, including and not limited to the electorates of Camden, Campbelltown, Macquarie Fields, Mulgoa, Holsworthy and Liverpool.

Brings to the attention of the House the danger to the School Children of Leppington Primary School due to the traffic chaos caused by inadequate provision of parking around Leppington Primary School and caused in particular by the overflow of cars parking in the streets due to the lack of adequate (Multi Level) Car Parking facilities around Leppington Train Station to cope with current and future demand from Commuters and which has resulted in a Car Parking Crisis.

 The undersigned petitioners therefore ask the Legislative Assembly to provide a temporary Car park on land owned by the NSW State Government and to approve the Construction of Multi Level Car Parks at Leppington Train Station as a matter of urgency in order to accommodate the current demand of commuter parking and provide for future demand as the area continues to grow in order to allow the ever increasing number of parents and students at Leppington Primary School to arrive and depart from School safely and securely.

 I NEED THE HELP OF SCHOOL or P & C PARENTS  to collect them at school so I can pick the up in a couple of Bundles - not sure if Trish at the front office can collect them I will ask on Monday.

Otherwise I will post a few days and times of when I will be up at the School myself over the next couple of weeks.

TASK 2

I will organise a rally on the 18th November 2018 at Leppington Station (subject to police approval) from 10 to 11am. With a couple of Speakers (Local MP's and Candidates).

People will be able to sign the Petition on the Day also.

This is our last chance to catch the politicians in parliament as after this they break for Christmas and go into Election Mode.

I look forward to your Support in this Last ditch effort to get the attention of the NSW State Government to commit to Building a Multi Level Carpark at Leppington Station.

With Chris Patterson not Contesting the Election it has been announced that New Camden Mayor Peter Sidgreaves will be running for the Liberal Party while Sally Quinnell is the local candidate for the Labor party - not sure if any other Candidates will be contesting the seat of Camden.
