We are seriously concerned about our community’s hospital, RMCH. Chronic mismanagement, lack of transparency, suspicion of longstanding financial abuse, nepotism, outright lies, and fear of retaliation have created an unsafe working environment for staff and an unsafe care environment for our community. CoVID-19 has brought the crisis to a point the chronic issues that make them unable to do their jobs taking care of our families and community. 2 weeks before the covid pandemic hit our area, David Conejo fired 17 contract nurses. He has mismanaged funding and hiring in a way that has made it impossible for current staff to handle the influx of patients in a safe manner. The CEO of RMCHCS, David Conejo, is THE roadblock to progress. The only way forward is his removal. 

We choose patients over profit. You should too.

We currently have a situation where a minimum of seven providers are ready to walk away from the hospital because of this mismanagement from David Conejo. We are risking the possibility of losing our hospital completely, which would leave our community without health care options. We need change. We need David Conejo gone! 

There have been many votes of no confidence towards David and his management of our communities hospital, and the board has not listened. The board needs to do their job! their job is to hold the CEO accountable for his actions and mismanagement of our community hospital.
