RM of Grahamdale using words to soften the forced move

Just an update. The RM of Grahamdale is stating that they are not “shutting down” Steep Rock Kayak and Canoe Rentals but they are just asking for this business to “relocate”.

The location of this business is what makes this business viable. This beachfront location along the dock, right in the town of Steep Rock is adjacent to the large natural rocks which have given Steep Rock its name. Moving this business elsewhere would not only be detrimental to the business but would also completely negate the mission and purpose of this business which is to serve the tourists that walk, kayak, canoe, boat, bike, etc. to see the rocks of Steep Rock.
