It is essential the Government petition reaches 100,000 signatures NOW (They will not recognise us until this number is reached) – We and our Businesses are running out of time, particularly as Rishi Sunak has still not provided us with proper income support after his last announcement on 29th May 20.
The Government has already been asked by the Petition’s Committee to revise their original response to our Government Petition, as the Government’s initial response was not adequate. We expect this w/c 1st June 2020.
Also, if you haven’t already done so, share with ANYONE YOU KNOW (Doesn’t have to be a Director of a company – anyone who will support your cause) and particularly, those who are DIRECTORS or an EMPLOYEE of a small limited company. DIRECTORS, ask your OWN EMPLOYEES to sign the Government petition to support you, to support them. We need their support, they need to save their jobs too.

The EDM (Early Day Motion)
The MP’s support for EDM#351 is growing – again use your letter to your MP to ask them to support this:
The Early Day Motion (EDM) now stands at 50 MP's. The EDM calls on the government to help us by allowing small limited company directors to claim for 80% of filed average earnings, including dividends. The MP's point out that the current position where we can only receive 80% of director's salary is not enough to live on.
There is wide cross party support for this motion from Edward Davey, Leader of the Liberal Democrats, Tim Farron, Liberal Democrat, Robert Halfon, Conservative, Andrew Selous, Conservative through to Harriet Harman and Andy Slaughter, Labour MPs - and many other MP including Ben Lake, Plaid Cymru and Caroline Lucas, Green Party .
