Dear Supporters
There hasn't been much to report campaign wise for the last couple of months and we still await the findings of the MoJ '90 day' internal review that commenced in June 2019.
However, the news this week that a Family Court Judge was lambasted by the Court of Appeal for his disgraceful treatment of a domestic & sexual abuse victim will not come as any surprise to many supporters of this petition. After all these are exactly the sorts of issues that have been highlighted by #thecourtsaid campaign in the past year. What was a surprise is that a case like this actually made it to the appeal court!
It was covered on Friday 24th January by the Victoria Derbyshire Show: https://twitter.com/VictoriaLIVE/status/1220652723831549958?s=20

Other media coverage:
What was a big shock to us was the news that the BBC announced that they intend to axe the Victoria Derbyshire Show!
The Victoria Derbyshire Show did the expose on Family Courts on 15 May 2019 and is unique format in that it has given a voice to so many who otherwise wouldn't have one & has exposed many area's of injustice / malpractice in a timely manner that has led to the Government & Authorities being held to account.
So we have written to BBC management expressing our concerns and I am asking others who share our concern to do the same, even if it's just a quick couple of lines asking them to reconsider.
