Dear Supporters
Firstly, a huge welcome to all the new supporters that have joined us this week, we are extremely grateful and thank you for adding your voices and stories to this petition.
Following the recent investigation of the Family Courts by the BBC's Victoria Derbyshire Show, yesterday the Ministry of Justice announced that they are launching a MoJ led review. Here are the headlines:
> Panel to make recommendations and report back in three months
> Public ‘Call for Evidence’ to gather views on how the current system can be improved
> Focus on ensuring the family court works in the explicit interests of the child

While we welcome this announcement as a very positive first step, it is not a substitute for the in depth, independent inquiry called for by Louise Haigh MP and many others, and there are concerns about what it will tell us that we don't already know.

However, if at this stage this is a genuine attempt to listen and understand the problem better, gather solution focussed ideas and identify some quick wins, we very much hope we get an opportunity to participate.
Please keep caring and sharing this petition and help us to keep the pressure on Government to reform this broken system.
Much Love
Rachel & Teresa
