Did you see Rachel on the Victoria Derbyshire Show yesterday?

Thanks to you and your support for our petition, Rachel was invited onto the show and was able to highlight the concerns that you are raising with us about practices in the Family Courts.

The BBC's Victoria Derbyshire Show has carried out an investigation into the Family Court and child contact orders. The special hour long show that went out yesterday has highlighted that unsafe contact is still being granted to dangerous perpetrators of domestic abuse and in extreme cases this has led to the deaths of children.

Over 120 MP’s led by Louise Haigh MP have signed a letter to the Government calling for an independent inquiry. When Louise Haigh raised this in Parliament later in the day, Theresa May said there was insufficient evidence to support an inquiry, however she did say that the Ministry of Justice were prepared to meet to discuss the issue.

We still need your unfailing support to keep public pressure on the Government to have an independent inquiry and reform this broken system. Please may we ask you to continue to raise awareness and ask people to sign and share the petition. Children are being put in danger today and this must be stopped!
