We’ve been very busy in the past couple of months since the last petition update, we’ll being telling you more about that in the coming weeks……..

In the meantime, we wanted to make you aware that the government is holding an online event in April to showcase improvements it has been working on for the UK’s family courts. The Family Court Reform event offers more information on proposed improvements inside family courts and provides an opportunity to offer feedback on the changes made so far.

The event is scheduled for Tue, 2 April 2019 13:00 – 14:00 BST

When you’ve registered, there’s an option to email questions in advance, so please use this opportunity. It states that the event is aimed at ‘professional’ court users court users’ and we are aware that a number of professionals have signed and commented on this petition. However, given the lengthy nature of some of these proceedings, we suggest that some ‘experienced ‘court users ‘ also use this opportunity to ask pertinent questions about the types of reforms that they think are required to our family court processes.
