Small victory - battle still to come!

Dear Lovely SE and Supporters - well a small victory in as much as we have not been ignored altogether! In August we'll get the equivalent of 70% of our average earnings (those of us that are eligible for the SEISS that is) which is 'in line with the furlough scheme'. Except of course it's not because we won't benefit from being topped up by our employer - as that is us! Thereafter we are cast adrift entirely, and the probability of any of us in the arts, leisure and hospitality industries being back to anything like full-time employment in the Autumn remains extremely small. There may well be more petitions circulating on behalf of the SE. I urge you all to keep an eye out for them, then sign and share immediately. We know we have Tracy Brabin MP and Caroline Lucas MP already fighting our corner but whilst this is a small victory, the real battle is still to come I fear.

Huge thanks for your support to get us this far. #Parity is still a way off, but we are at least being heard.

Stay safe and well everyone. Until we meet again.........

Jules
