County Commissioner, Alex Naranjo , has made a unilateral decision without the support of at least one other county commissioner and the current county manager to place the Alcalde Oñate statue at the entrance to the County Complex in Industrial Park. 

There are other petitions in circulation that would be detrimental to the political aspirations of Commissioner Naranjo. If I could count on at least 800 Rio Arriba residents to sign another petition, we could stop this momentum dead in it's tracks. 

No Oñate in 2020 and no Oñate in 2023.
