This is NOT the greatest show on earth anymore.

Each year circus animals are used for entertainment and majestic animals are forced to perform for the crowds of people. Many of these animals are abused in order to be submissive and "in the year 2000, the ASPCA—along with The Fund for Animals, Born Free USA and the Animal Welfare Institute—filed a federal lawsuit against Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey Circus. The lawsuit contended that the circus's treatment of its Asian elephants violates the federal Endangered Species Act. Unfortunately, on December 30, 2009, the case was decided on behalf of the defense (Ringling's owners, Feld Entertainment) based on lack of standing of the plaintiffs." - (aspac.org is this source used) -

It is time to STOP this dreadful show and not just Ringling but ALL circuses here and abroad!! Many countries who do not allow circuses to continue anymroe are:Boliva, Peru, Greece, Cryprus,Paraguay, Columbia, Netherlands, Slovenia, Mexico, China, and AMERICA will be NEXT!!

You use certain tools to have these animals "submit" to you and behave - how else could they if not punishing these majestic creatures by using bullhooks, whips, clubs, and/or electric prods. We cannot walk up to a FREE animal in the wild and have them perform so you tell me what are you doing?? Simple commands of love to get them to obey?? Why do you think they rebel against you? Remember Janet, the elephant, shot 47 times??

You keep these animals in SMALL confined spaces due to travelling and setting up for your cruel practices. After the "show" stops they still are not free for the one month they have of rest as they are still in confined spaces.

You take the babies from their moms and force them to live in unbeareable conditions. These babies spend ELEVEN months travelling. How would you feel chained up and not able to roam around that long. It has been a known practice that animals are drugged and even have their claws or teeth removed. 

OUR hope and plea is your circus would end and these animals will finally be free of enteraining the masses!!! You have sentenced them to a cell not much bigger than they for a crime they did not committ!!!
