My Fellow Canadians,

Americans ousted Trump from their White House; it’s your turn to take him off a street sign in your capital city.

Last week residents of an Ottawa neighborhood (with streets named for NYC-Central-Park areas) voted on whether to change their “Trump Avenue” or not.

Of the avenue’s 62 homes only 42 voted. The result was a tie: 21-21. The vote needed a majority for the former reality actor's name to be removed.

WE NEED A REVOTE!

So many great names to use instead: 5th Avenue, Park Avenue, Madison Avenue, Rockefeller Center, The Dakota, Belvedere Castle, Lincoln Center, Bethesda Terrace, Carnegie Hill, Columbus Circle, Tavern on the Green, The Plaza…Strawberry Fields!

Donald Trump is the antithesis of everything Canada stands for and and strives to be. Even his own organization removed his name from the Central Park ice rink.

O, Canada. Please sign the petition and convince City Councillor Riley Brockington to hold a second vote!
