UPDATE: Withheld Funds – UK Process

We would like to share a quick update on the status of the withheld funds.

As mentioned in our previous UK update, on October 3rd, 2026, we replied to the MP after completing and submitting all recommended forms required by the Parliamentary and Health Service Ombudsman - PHSO.

The process:
Once the MP has received the relevant forms from us, the MP is then in a position to contact PHSO.

On Friday 9th October 2026, we sent a follow-up email to the MP asking if he has passed our completed forms onto PHSO. We are currently awaiting a reply from the MP.

We have now also reached out to PHSO and the Ombudsman's Information Rights team to clarify:

*1.* What is the expected timeframe for an MP to submit a referral to PHSO after receiving it from an individual making the complaint/ constituent?

*2.* What is the expected timeframe for PHSO to acknowledge receipt of an MP referral complaint?

*3.* For a straightforward case where all evidence has already been submitted, what is the expected timeframe for PHSO to reach a final outcome/decision, and how long after that decision should the individual making the complaint/constituent be informed?

We will share the official response once received.
