I am glad to see in the most recent retirement funding legislation there has been some movement towards the use of retirement funds as investment in ones self or family. The new legislation allows for paying students loans back with matching funds from employers; and allowing use of funds for emergencies without penalty if paid back. However, it is a far cry from the reality that is needed in these changed times.
I would like to thank the Senators that helped encourage the items in the legislation. However, like I said, it is unbelievable that organizations can charge 22% on loans but US citizens cannot borrow from theme selves saved money at 22% interest to save for retirement and pay off loans. Insane. Crazy. Oppressive.
What can you say. It is easier to become poor in the United States than it is to become rich. Someday this will change hopefully without converting to socialism. You don’t need to share a bar of soap if you can teach a person to make soap and use their own or sell it.
Regulation are ridiculous.
