The Issue

Title: Support the "Ride for Men's Commission" Initiative to Address Men's Issues in India

In a nation of above 140 crores people, there exists a significant gap in addressing the issues faced by men – half of the population of the world's largest democracy. Men, too, deserve a platform where their grievances can be heard impartially, without bias or prejudice.
With the advent of complete takeover of Indian society by misandric feminism, the male gender is overlooked as victim of crimes such as domestic violence, sexual assault, and harassment. In the eyes of the law, men are only seen as perpetrators and not recognized as victim at all. Even cases of extreme domestic violence against men are dismissed, with authorities since there are no laws to protect them.

In a society where numerous bodies exist to safeguard the interests of women, girls, animals, and even the environment, there is a glaring absence of an equivalent commission to address the challenges faced by men and boys. Instances of men experiencing domestic violence, false accusations, and injustice remain unaddressed, lacking statistical recognition due to the absence of a dedicated body to research, analyze, and record crime against boys and men. Boys, additionally, receive a step motherly treatment from the women and child development ministry as understanding of basic dignity for boys is clearly missing by virtue of their mandate and skillset.

Furthermore, the challenges concerning ’male gender’s physical, mental, psychological, and personal well-being have been largely disregarded by lawmakers and the judiciary.

Male genderdeserve a platform to address issues such as discrimination, bias, and inequality.

2.    Addressing Rising Male Suicides: The alarming increase in male suicides in India is a matter of grave concern. Through this initiative, we aim to shed light on the underlying factors contributing to this crisis and advocate for comprehensive mental health support and intervention programs tailored to the needs of men. We ask for the implementation of special campaigns to prevent male suicides, addressing the underlying issues leading to such tragic outcomes.

3.    Combating Misuse of Gender-based Laws and False Cases: Men in India often face the brunt of gender-based laws and false accusations, leading to immense suffering and injustice. We seek to raise awareness about the misuse of such laws and advocate for fair and equitable legal processes that uphold the principles of justice and equality for all. We urge the Government to launch gender-neutral campaigns against sexual, physical, and economic abuse, ensuring support for male victims and survivors.

4.    Adoption of shared parenting during divorce proceedings to prevent fathers' alienation from their children's lives.

Amjad Khan's journey symbolizes a collective effort to spark meaningful change and address the systemic issues affecting men's well-being in our society.
