Outcome to Yorkshire NHS Trust investigation

If you know anyone that you could send this petition to and they would Sign and Share, I would be Grateful

But first, when I received the second copy of my call(unredacted this time) that I made on May 20th 2023 that eventually lead to Ricki's body being found(Took 6 Hours).

I asked the Ambulance Service a few question regarding the call.

One question was why did the Ambulance Service finally agree to go to Ricki's address on my call but refused to go when Ricki's mother called even thought the police had instructed both of us to tell the Ambulance service that the police told us to tell them to send an ambulance.

ANSWER

In my call they said the decided to send an ambulance because I said Ricki had Mental health problems and had attempted suicide in the past and be cause Ricki's mother never said that, that's why they refused to send an ambulance to call for help.

In his mother call when I played it, she clearly says that Ricki is on Antidepressants and has an Alcohol problem and he has also been prescribed new medication .

Now I'm thinking if someone is on Antidepressants and has a drinking problem then i'm guessing you have mental health problems

As just alone being on Antidepressants = you have Mental Health Problems, but a Medically trained Clinician doesn't see that.

Now to his mother outcome letter from Yorkshire Ambulance Trust

They State that Welfare Checks are a police matter still, Strange as the police since March 2023 say that the Ambulance Service do welfare checks

SO WHO THE FCNK DOES WELFARE CHECKS THEN ???????.

By the sound of things NO ONE.

They still say they have done everything correctly

and they still maintain that

The Right Care Right Person Policy is a police policy and not Implemented by the Trust, and the outcome letter is dated 19th August 2024, some 17 Months since the policy rolled it out and they Yorkshire Ambulance Service are still not running it along side the police as per the National Partnership Agreement state's.

Update about Ricki's Mother's police complaint.

My first complaint from submission to outcome letter took 5 day's

My second complaint took 6 weeks

Ricki's Mother's complaint they have had since 24 June 2024 and on the 14th August 2024,

I receive an email saying they are passing it to the Complaints Resolution Team, so some 7 weeks and they had not even started to investigate the complaint .

The Caseworker from my MP's Office called today as she had a meeting last week with South Yorkshire Police Chief's and at that time she was only aware that the Ambulance Service was not running the RCRP policy alongside the police and that was down to the proof I gave her that was dated March 2024, she showed the Police Chief's the proof and she said they looked surprised, they are now going to get another shock as the outcome letter for his Mother's complaint dated 19th August 2024 states they are still not running the RCRP Policy.

Will keep you updated

and please if you do end up in a similar situation and are ever worried about someone's welfare , DON'T stop until either the Police or Ambulance Service send someone to check on them, they will try and pass you back and fourth but stand your ground, it's them who are paid to protect you and serve you.
