I have now gone through the almost 800 pages of medical records that I have. They contradict themselves over and over again. On a given day, my dad is doing well. Later on the same day, he is critically ill from massive blood loss and transfusions. I have the operative report that states a CABx3 plus clearing out a 4th vessel. Which is what I was verbally told that he basically had a quadruple bypass. The autopsy on the other hand states he had a double. Which is it? The uncomplicated and successful surgery never states he had 15 units of blood given. But I have the log of blood products. That bowel that they retracted their statement that it was punctured? I have new records that clearly state....punctured bowel confirmed. I could go on and on about the different things I have found. The original set of records I was given was about 300 pages. I went into the hospital and told them I wanted everything! Still no record of when CPR was given. But autopsy shows he had broken ribs from CPR measures.
