Today as I sit here and read all of the amazing comments and love if support! My heart is warm - thank you to each of you for that! We are still fighting for Baby Emily but the siblings and I got to do a 2 day visit at the end of June. I drove 15 hours with a 7, 5 and 4 year old (who was also fighting an ear infection) and It was AMAZING and so worth it!!!! Daddy couldn't come sadly because let's be real Daddy has to work and needs to save his time for us to go back at a later date for court if needed. Our 12 year old was happy to stay home with friends since we were leaving for a planned family vacation the day after we came back. Baby Emily came to me with open arms and smiles, she pulled me in for kisses - she laughed with her siblings (Olivia deleted all her games off her iPad so she had more room for pics and videos of her baby sister. Anyone we visit that knows us - first thing from her is Mom can I show them her picture. She's so happy and proud! Isaiah let her take over his iPad while he sat there with his arm around her watching - if you know reserved Isaiah in new situations this was priceless! Parker despite being sick - happily layed on the floor playing with her and the laughter of the two of them was priceless. We wanted to put her in our suitcase and bring her home but we know we have to proceed the right way like we are doing! Doesn't mean it was easy! On our last day - our 7 yr old Olivia - who has tons of feelings about this said to me "Is this the last time I am going to see her? I cried and told her I sure hope not". Then she said " your going to keep fighting right". I told her absolutely baby girl because we believe it is right for you, your brothers and mostly for her! As we both cried our eyes out that day, leaving her was the hardest thing ever!!! We left her with special book from each sibling! Special gift from each sibling and a couple of outfits. One thing we are and will continue to be is grateful she is in a home that loves her and takes care of her. We do remind them of that all the time too. Some days we still don't get a response but at the end of the day we know we a redoing what's right for Baby Emily and our family! That visit was 2 fold for us - for the 3 youngest siblings bio grandma came home with us - and went on vacation and spent a week in our home with the kids (they spent 2 1/2 weeks with her and that is priceless). I think it's important for them to have that connection. We want them and thing for Baby Emily - our whole family immediate, siblings, aunts, uncles - everyone is so excited to meet her! Hope one day soon our update will be radiant news and we can share a picture of the siblings all together! Until then please keep praying for our family and Baby Emily! Thank you everyone!!!
