Hello everyone,
I am pleased to update you that the meeting with Mayor and Council went very well, while no official decision has been made yet. The town certainly expressed that Branthaven's plan to build 59 townhomes on the vacant land near PostMaster Dr, was a far stretch.
It was unanimously expressed by every member of the council including the mayor, that construction of 59 townhomes, would be an overbuilt considering the amount of enjoyable space given to each home, parking available to the residents & visitors of the new homes & the amount of traffic congestion it adds to a road leading to the hospital/schools/train-station.
I would like to thank everyone for supporting the petition, it has certainly helped. Here is the recording of the proceeding(starting from 42mins), I will update you again as soon as we hear back from the town.
