The Issue
Petition Statement
We, the undersigned Iranian citizens and individuals of Iranian origin residing inside and outside Iran, hereby formally declare that Reza Pahlavi does not represent us politically, socially, or ideologically.
This statement is a civic and political declaration reflecting the personal views of the signatories. It does not claim legal representation, leadership, or a mandate on behalf of all Iranians.
We respectfully request that the Government of the United States, its institutions, policymakers, and affiliated bodies do not interpret Mr. Reza Pahlavi as a representative or spokesperson of the Iranian people as a whole.
Iranian society is diverse and pluralistic, composed of multiple political perspectives. Any engagement concerning Iran’s future should reflect this diversity rather than attributing representation to a single individual without a democratic mandate.
This petition is submitted in good faith as a peaceful and civil expression of political opinion.

ما امضاکنندگان این بیانیه، شهروندان ایرانی و یا افراد با اصالت ایرانی ساکن داخل و خارج از ایران، بدین‌وسیله به‌صورت رسمی اعلام می‌کنیم که رضا پهلوی نماینده سیاسی، اجتماعی یا فکری ما نیست.
این بیانیه یک اظهار نظر مدنی و سیاسی است و بازتاب‌دهنده دیدگاه شخصی امضاکنندگان آن می‌باشد و هیچ‌گونه ادعای نمایندگی حقوقی، رهبری سیاسی یا مأموریت از سوی تمامی مردم ایران را مطرح نمی‌کند.
ما محترمانه از دولت ایالات متحده آمریکا، نهادها و تصمیم‌گیران سیاسی آن درخواست می‌کنیم که رضا پهلوی را به‌عنوان نماینده یا سخنگوی مردم ایران به‌طور کلی تلقی نکنند.
جامعه ایران جامعه‌ای متکثر و متنوع با دیدگاه‌های سیاسی گوناگون است و هرگونه تعامل درباره آینده ایران باید این تنوع را در نظر بگیرد و از نسبت دادن نمایندگی به یک فرد بدون پشتوانه دموکراتیک پرهیز شود.
این بیانیه با نیت حسن، به‌صورت مسالمت‌آمیز و در چارچوب فعالیت مدنی ارائه می‌شود.

این بیانیه صرفاً یک اظهار نظر مدنی و سیاسی است و به‌هیچ‌وجه نتیجه انتخابات، وکالت حقوقی یا ادعای نمایندگی انحصاری مردم ایران محسوب نمی‌شود.
