🗓️ WHEN & WHERE
• Start Time: 2:00 PM Sharp on 1/18/2026
• Meeting Point: Outside the YMCA (7601 42nd Ave N, Minneapolis, MN 55427)
• Final Destination: The Education Service Center (ESC)
🗺️ THE MARCH ROUTE
· Phase 1: The March. We depart the YMCA at 2:00 PM, heading toward the Education Service Center.
· Phase 2: The Protest. We will hold a major rally outside the ESC (4148 Winnetka Ave N) to make our voices heard before the January 20th vote.
· Phase 3: The Final Stretch. After the protest, we will continue down toward Holy Nativity (3900 Winnetka Ave N).
🎨 SIGNS & GEAR
• Bring Your Own: We encourage everyone to bring homemade signs. Get the kids involved—let them get creative and share their stories!
• Community Supplies: We will have a large lead banner and extra signs for those who need them.
• The Dress Code: [FAIR APPAREL, PURPLE, OR GREEN]. We will all wear our school colors to show our unified strength. Watch for an update later this week!

📍 WHERE WE ARE MEETING: Education Service Center (4148 Winnetka Ave N Minneapolis, MN 55427 United States) We will be outside the main entrance to ensure our message is seen and heard!
⏰ WHEN TO BE THERE: (ALL WEEK) We are holding two main protest windows every day this week from 1/12 to 1/16 to catch the board and staff as they enter and exit the building:
🌅 The Morning Shift: 7:30 AM – 9:30 AM Start the day by reminding them we are watching. Come and go whenever you can during this window! Organize with your families, friends, groups, etc. to go in pairs each day!
🌇 The Afternoon Shift: 2:00 PM – 4:00 PM Bring the energy as the district office closes out their day. Let’s make sure they take our concerns home with them!
🪧 WHAT TO BRING
• SIGNS: Highlight the lack of transparency, the rushed closures, and the need for ethical leadership.
• YOUR GRIPES: Don’t hold back—put your specific concerns in big, bold letters!
• FRIENDS & NEIGHBORS: Strength is in numbers. Let’s show them the community is united.
✊OUR GOAL:
The District is moving to shut down our schools and the FAIR Middle School programming. We are here because we are unhappy with current leadership. We are demanding they do what is right and ethical. We are demanding that the district stops making fast-paced mistakes and starts making well-thought decisions. No more unorganized chaos—our students deserve better!

On January 20th the school board meets to vote on the final SOD plan and finalize the details, effectively shutting down our schools and stripping away the FAIR Middle School programming. We are not just losing buildings; our children are losing their future. We are unhappy with this leadership, and we demand accountability.
WE DEMAND A REVOTE. RESCIND THE VOTE!
