This situation mirrors the Catholic Church's longstanding and systematic cover-up of sexual abuse cases, rooted in the belief that, as a private institution, it has the right to operate with impunity, shield itself from accountability, and avoid external scrutiny. This institution seeks to suppress our voices, and silencing us prevents expression, rendering us unheard and perpetuating our marginalization. Such an egregious abuse of power would never be permitted to persist within a public institution.

As a devoted parent, my commitment to engage, support, and participate in my children's educational journey has been hindered due to an unjust ban placed on me by Saint Catharine of Siena Catholic School in Reading, PA, two-and-a-half years ago. This ban effectively prevents me from being on their private property, severing my active involvement in my kids’ academic life, which is indeed a crucial part of their development.

The ban was based on mere recommendations from the civil authority, not backed by any evidence of criminal activity, charges, or convictions on my part. I have no previous convictions, charges, or any criminal record whatsoever. In this two-and-half year period, I have not faced or under any legal investigation or interrogation. Over these challenging years and months, I have fully complied with every stipulation outlined in the restrictions, and not once have I violated any of the conditions set forth. Despite my unwavering adherence to these directives, I have been consistently told that the restrictions were predicated on the advice from the civil authority. They have never made any effort to contact me and inquire about my well-being. This situation spotlights an injustice without cause.

My children are growing up quickly, and with each passing day, I am further excluded from the invaluable opportunities to participate in, contribute to, and support them in their daily school activities and academic curriculum. This ongoing restriction is not merely an inconvenience; it is a substantial curtailment and deprivation of my fundamental rights to meaningfully engage in my children’s lives. As parents this is our natural, inherent, inalienable, and undeniable responsibilities and rights.

Research indicates that parental participation has a significant effect on children's academic outcomes. A report by Michigan Department of Education (2011) underscores that children whose parents are genuinely interested and invested in their studies show higher academic achievements.

Given the palpable impact of this ban on my children's educational journey, I respectfully request the relevant authorities to reassess my case. By revoking this unjust ban, not only would it better my children's school life and their academic outcomes, but it would also be a step towards ensuring fairness and justice.
