The next opportunity is to join us on the Board of Land Use Appeals (BLUA) Zoom hearing on Friday, August 26 to show support for the H+L Distillery permits to be revoked. 

"What we do in our backyards, flows into our neighbors’ yards. And whatever we do on land, drains into the sea. Raising Cane's destructive SHORT-TERM HIGH-PROFIT agricultural model will permanently damage our priceless Frederiksted coastline."

-> We want the non-germane amendment added to Act 8568 reversed, so distilleries of any size cannot be built on agricultural lands.
-> We want the permits revoked and resubmitted with the true intention of the plan.
-> We want our government to monitor, enforce, and recommend the best ways to keep our island safe. We don't want neighbors that jeopardize our water, air, and land with unsafe practices just because they can get away with it.
