Elon Musk, the billionaire tech investor and founder of Tesla, has allegedly entered our great nation illegally and has been using his wealth and influence to meddle in the affairs of our elected officials. This is deeply troubling and it's personally affecting me, along with many others who respect our democratic institutions and the rule of law.

From humble beginnings, our nation's founders built a country steeped in democratic values and institutional integrity. The influence of private citizens, no matter their economic status, should not supersede the will of the people or disrupt the performance of elected public servants.

While it's true that Elon Musk has contributed to technological developments and job creation with his various enterprises, this does not grant immunity from lawfulness and accountability. Furthermore, the EB-1 visa, which Musk allegedly holds, is reserved for individuals with "extraordinary ability," and by engaging in interference with our political system, he is proving himself to be not extraordinary, but detrimental.

It is important to acknowledge that Musk’s actions could set a concerning precedent if left unaddressed. It is time for us to stand together for the health of our democracy and send a clear message: wealth should not equal unregulated power.
